Raised on the music of Tammy Wynette and Dolly Parton, Goldies music is noted for its cinematic quality and exploration of tragic romance, glamour, and melancholia containing references to her small-town upbringing, with a nod to 1950s and 1960s America. At 21 Goldie signed her first record deal with Interscope Records. She went on to record with artists including Diplo and Steve Aoki. She has amassed over 20 million music streams and has been supported by Elton John. Goldie has worked with the likes of Valentino, Diesel, H&M, John Galliano, and Casablanca. The revisiting of the sounds and memories of her upbringing inspired Goldie to begin writing “Cowboy Gangster Politician”, an intro into her first full-length album, “Emerald Year". The creation process of the album was a swift departure from her previous releases and one that sent her on a journey of honesty, purity, vulnerability, and a healing return to herself.
GOLDIE IS SET TO RELEASE A DOCUMENTARY ABOUT HER PAST EXPERIENCES IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY WHICH REFLECTS ON HER EP SET TO RELEASE LATER THIS YEAR “EMERALD YEAR”
